Our sugaring operation was started in the early 1950's by Neal Mosher and his son, Everett Mosher Sr. as Maple Lane Farms. Grandma Mabel was the primary sugarhouse operator for many years. Syrup was produced primarily from roadside trees along US Route 62 on the farm property. Customers came from all over the Northeast to buy our quality maple syrup. In the early 1980's, Everett Jr. took over the operation of the sugarbush and began tapping trees in the woods with the use of tubing as many of the roadside trees were being removed. The farm was sold in 2005 and the sugaring operation was put on hold for a time. In 2019 a lease agreement for the trees on the original farm was reached and the sugaring operation was revitalized as MAPLE LANE FOODS, LLC. The business is operated by Everett Jr. and his wife Tammy and son Rolfe. Daughter Bridget and Niece Paige help with marketing. Grandchildren are eager taste testers. Our goal is to provide you with quality and tasty products and to share the story of this process called 'Maple Sugaring'.
